Fluke 9103, 9140 Dry-Well Calibrators & Dry Block Calibrators

Great performance in portable instruments
• Lightweight and very portable
• Accuracy to ±0.25 °C
• RS-232 interface
• Easy to recalibrate

If you’ve been using a dry well calibrator or dry block calibrator for field work, you know there’s a lot more to them than temperature range and stability. Size, weight, speed, convenience, and software are also significant.

A field dry well needs to be portable, flexible, and suitable for high-volume calibrations or certifications. If it's not, you’ll soon forget about the great stuff the sales rep told you and realize what you’ve really bought.

At Fluke Calibration, we use dry well calibrators every day in our manufacturing and calibration work, and we know what makes a dry well easy and productive to use—which is exactly how users describe our series of field dry wells. These dry wells work for you instead of the other way around.

Fluke Calibration P3100 Hydraulic Deadweight Testers
Fluke Calibration P3100 Hydraulic Deadweight Testers
The P3100 models are available in single or dual piston format. Unit can be supplied in psi, bar, kgf/cm², and MPa. This robust instrument is highly accurate, quick and easy to use. Units feature a built-in priming pump for large volume applications, piston flotation indicators and a high quality screw press for fine pressure control.
Operating principle
Deadweight testers are the high performance pressure standards for pressure measurement. Utilizing the well proven piston-gauge system consisting of a vertically mounted, precision lapped piston and cylinder assembly, accurately calibrated weight masses (Force) are loaded on the piston (Area), which rises freely within its cylinder. These weights balance the upward force created by the pressure within the system. The pressure is measured when placed on a correctly spinning and floating piston. The total pressure measured is the summation of the weights plus the piston weight carrier assembly.
Instrument base
There are three basic variations in the hydraulic offering; single low pressure, single high pressure and dual piston models. Pressure is generated and controlled by means of a high quality screw press located on the front of the tester. A built-in hand pump is included as standard for all hydraulic models to prime the system and accommodate large volume requirements.
Piston/cylinder assemblies
The piston/cylinder assembly is the heart of each deadweight tester. They are manufactured from materials that provide stability, durability, and low thermal coefficients and distortion. Our experience and knowledge of piston/cylinder production and calibration ensure the precision and performance required for today’s demanding calibration requirements.
Weight masses
Standard weight masses are series 3 nonmagnetic austenitic stainless steel. Each mass is marked with the serial number of the instrument and the nominal pressure value relative to the high or low-pressure piston, when applicable. Optional fractional weights are stainless steel and/or solution heat treated aluminum.
Gravity correction
Gravity varies significantly with geographical location and this variation has a direct effect on the force of the weights and the accuracy of the deadweight tester. Each instrument can be calibrated to local gravity at no extra cost. If unspecified, instruments will be calibrated to Standard Gravity at 980.665 cm/s2.

Key features
• Pressure ranges to 60,000 psi (4000 bar)
• 0.015% of reading accuracy standard (0.008% optional)
• Single or dual piston format
• Built-in hand pumps standard
• Mounted spirit level with adjustable feet
• Units can be trimmed to local gravity FOC
Fluke 9170 9171 9172 9173 Metrology Well Calibrators
Fluke 9170, 9171, 9172, & 9173 Metrology Well Calibrators
Accurate enough for lab use, and rugged and portable enough to take anywhere
• Best-performing industrial heat sources (accuracy, stability, uniformity) in the world
• Immersion depth to 203 mm (8 in)
• Optional ITS-90 reference input reads PRTs to ±0.006 °C
• Temperature range from –45 °C to 700 °C

Every once in a while, a new product comes around that changes the rules. It happened when we introduced handheld dry-wells. It happened when we introduced Micro-Baths. Now we’ve combined bath-level performance with dry-well functionality and legitimate reference thermometry to create Metrology Wells.

With groundbreaking new proprietary electronics from Fluke Calibration's (patents pending), Metrology Wells let you bring lab-quality performance into whatever field environment you might work in. New analog and digital control techniques provide stability as good as ±0.005 °C. And with dual-zone control, axial (or “vertical") uniformity is as good as ±0.02 °C over a 60 mm (2.36 in) zone. (That’s 60 mm!) Such performance doesn’t exist anywhere else outside of fluid baths.

In short, there are six critical components of performance in an industrial heat source (which the European metrology community explains, for example, in the document EA-10/13): calibrated display accuracy, stability, axial (vertical) uniformity, radial (well-to-well) uniformity, impact from loading, and hysteresis. We added a seventh in the form of a legitimate reference thermometer input and created an entirely new product category: Metrology Wells.

(By the way, Metrology Wells are the only products on the market supported by published specifications addressing every performance category in the EA-10/13. Our specs aren’t just hopes or guidelines. They apply to every Metrology Well we sell.)
Fluke Calibration 700HPPK Pneumatic Test Pump Kit
Fluke Calibration 700HPPK Pneumatic Test Pump Kit
The Fluke Calibration 700HPPK Pneumatic Test Pump Kit generates and adjusts pneumatic pressures up to 21 MPa (3000 psi), without requiring a nitrogen bottle or other external pressure supply. It supplies pressure to devices under test (DUTs) that include transmitters, controllers, pilots, digital and analog gauges, and more. It’s the perfect solution for generating high pressure in the field, where conditions and operating surfaces can vary.
The 700HPPK is the ideal choice for calibration technicians, test engineers, and instrument technicians working in industries like natural gas transmission and distribution, process, aerospace and defense, who need a simple-to-use, safe and portable pressure source that they can depend on in a wide variety of conditions.
The 700HPPK contains both a calibration manifold and high pressure pump to generate and finely adjust pressures. A second model, the 700HPP, is available for people who only prefer a high pressure source.
Use the 700HPPK Test Pump Kits with 2700G Reference Pressure Gauges or 700G Precision Pressure Gauges for a complete pressure calibration solution.
Use the 700HPPK just about anywhere
The 700HPPK is designed to be at home in the lab or the field. Lightweight and portable, it features collapsible feet, built-in handhold, and a canvas carrying case, making it easy to carry to the field.
The 700HPPK works on just about any surface, so you don’t need a flat laboratory bench or flat area in the field.
With the 700HPPK, you don’t need to carry a lot of extra equipment or accessories. No PTFE tape or extra tools are required thanks to a swivel ¼ NPT female reference gauge connector that makes switching reference gauges fast and easy.
The pump kit is designed so that the calibration manifold attaches and detaches easily via quick detent pins. You won’t need to spend a lot of time setting it up or packing it away at the end of the day.
Generate high pressure accurately and safely for a wide workload
The 700HPPK generates pressure up to 21 MPA (3000 psi) within 20 seconds to full scale into a 10 cm3 volume. A detachable pressure adjustment system and adjustment control knob enables users to make fine pressure adjustments to 0.1% of reading or better. The 700HPPK includes a 2 meter (6.5-foot) pressure line and assorted pressure fittings, enabling you to connect a wide variety of DUTs for wide workload coverage. In fact, the 700HPPK covers at least five times more workload than standard range pneumatic pumps. An in-line filter system protects the system against contamination from the unit under test.

Key Features
• Generate and adjust pneumatic pressures up to 21 MPa (3000 psi)
• Rugged, portable and stable enough to go anywhere -- on any surface
• Reaches pressure in 20 seconds to full scale into a 10 cm3 volume
• Detachable pressure adjustment system for adjusting pressure, connecting reference and test devices on bench and in the field, and isolating and venting pressure
